HAIR REVIEW: RAEFRAN HAIR UK
Posted on October 28, 2014 3 Comments
Remember I told you about a hair company called RaéFran Hair HERE. The company contacted me a while back to try out some hair from their range. I was sent their Virgin Brazilian and Indian hair. I am yet to fix the Indian hair, but I have used the former. I was sent a 14″ closure and bundles in 14,16 and 18 inches in colour 1B. However, I knew I didn’t want a plain colour as I already have similar weaves like that, so I decided to add some highlights. For the 1st week I wore it as a centre part with little layers. After which I further cut it to a shoulder bob and wore it as a side part. My complete review is after the Images below.
IS A MASTERS PROGRAMME WORTH IT? (FAQ’S, APPLICATION & MORE)
Posted on October 28, 2014 8 Comments
I get a lot of questions form readers asking about university choices for a post graduate course and programme selection. In this post I answer a few questions, and share my personal experiences as a recent graduate. I discuss tuition, application processes, course selection, travel and more. I really
AKARA ! (PICTORIAL)
Posted on October 27, 2014 4 Comments
Hello!
Hope your weekend went awesome! Mine was quite eventful. I woke up on Saturday morning craving Akara i.e Bean cake. You all know my love for pap i.e Ogi, and I think there is nothing more satisfying than Pap with any bean delicacy; Ranging from moi-moi, palm oil beans or bean cake. So I decided to go with the latter. The cooking is quite easy, but the preparation process is the main task. You have to soak the beans for a minimum of 4hours then peel off the brown part/skin, before you blend and fry. I would make a video later this week on it for my YouTube community, but a lot of blog readers in Nigeria complain about videos and the internet struggle there, so here is a step by step pictorial for you lovelies! Do enjoy!
I enjoyed my meal and I hope you will too! tweet or tag me when you make yours! Follow me on Instagram/ Twitter .
Have an awesome week ahead!

UNFADING BEAUTY (1)
Posted on October 24, 2014 7 Comments
TGIF! Hope your week went great and you’re pumped about the weekend like I am. Today I’m introducing a series on the blog titled 20 Lessons of my 20’s, I’m still in my twenties hence ‘of’ as opposed to ‘from‘.
This segment talks about various things I’ve learnt and I’m still learning as a young woman. I chose today’s topic Unfading beauty: beyond the reflection as the Number 1 LESSON simply because this was the first lesson I learnt in the first few years as an adult. Now I sometimes wonder if this is because I’m female or because God knew I needed to reck that part of me. I’ve once shared my journey on beauty and vanity on the blog Here, but today I’d just discuss a few things I’ve learnt on beauty.
LALALE TUESDAY!
Posted on October 15, 2014 3 Comments
So it seems almost everyone was born in October with all the birthday celebrations going on around me. Last night was my friend Roseline’s birthday, I think i’ve mentioned her in one or two posts on the blog. Last night was lovely, we went to a hotel restaurant to have dinner then headed out to a bar after. I also met new people which is always nice, and got to meet more Africans in my age group, I wonder where they’ve been hiding through out the year lol. Food was good, music was good , and for a tuesday night the turnup was great . Everyone had a blast. I wore a Jumpsuit which I would put up details in the next post. Below are pictures from the
ASK TOSIN: HELP! I WANT TO START A BLOG

Remember I launched a new segment on the blog called “Ask Tosin”, a platform where you can send me questions on anything you’d like my opinion upon. Now, I do not claim to know it all but I may have a comment/suggestion on shared topics which I hope you find valuable to the circumstance. Thank you for all the questions so far, some questions are confidential so I may not be able to publish them. however, for recurring questions like this, I’ve decided to answer and post them periodically(once a week). For this first published segment I would be answering my
CATCH ME ON EBONYLIFE TV!
Posted on October 1, 2014 4 Comments
Hello beautiful people!
I’d be showing on Ebonylife TV on the ‘blog it’ segment! You can watch me this morning at 11:30am for those who missed the 5:30/8:30pm broadcast last night. I was feeling bad I couldn’t watch it from here, but thanks to technology I got to view the show!
My amazing friend Kemi A.k.a Peachy Kemog (Remember her wedding post HERE) watched it and tuned me in via Skype (she literally turned her phone to the Tv). I was so excited! My family is here currently so we all watched it together. I don’t think I would ever get used to it lol.
I’d be showing once Every week till year end so you can catch me every Tuesday/wednesday at 5:30 pm, with reruns at 8:30pm, 11:30pm and 11:30am the next day on EL NOW, Channel 165 DSTV.
Do watch and feel free to tweet at me when you do!
Oh yes! Today is also a great day! Happy independence to a great country Nigeria! Hope you’re enjoying the public holiday! God bless Nigeria!
