“The word of God is a bank where all secrets and treasures are stored. Those who can dig into it, find it and apply it are bound to live excellently while on earth”.
Logos corner is a new segment where the word of God is discussed, lessons, keys or admonitions are posted (Based on findings whilst studying the word). There would be guest bloggers/preachers/teachers/individuals who will anchor each topic or findings. Every one is free to comment below each post to educate, enlighten or give suggestions as regards the topic of the day. I understand the value of the word of God and I want everyone to be a partaker of its goodness. We get to edify our spirits and each other through this platform and it keeps us accountable.
II Timothy 3: 16 says “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”
However its the Holy Spirit who illuminates particular Scriptures for application in our daily walk with God. Studying the word of God for daily reading is ‘Logos’, While the insight gotten from it to a particular circumstance is ‘Rhema’, i.e the revelation of the word. I also struggle to study my bible sometimes, but consistently meditating on it amazingly changes your life. Once you begin to spend time in it, you know God more and your faith grows stronger. The word of God is a shield, equips you for every situation/battle, and directs your path amongst other benefits. The word of God is God (John 1.1). I hope we all get on board and make the best out of each teaching, all to the glory of the lord.

Today I read Proverbs chapter 3, which has 35 verses, filled with instructions, promises and keys to Longevity & Success. I took notes on 10 key points, and I would like to share it with you.
1. Keep God’s commandments in your heart and live by it.
Promise: You will live long and have peace of Mind.
2. Love consistently and remain faithful in your service.
Promise: You will find Favour and Good Success in the eyes of men and God.
3. Trust God completely in all situations and do not lean on your intellect in anything you do.
Promise: He will keep you on track and make your path straight.
4. Fear the Lord and walk uprightly with integrity. Do not do evil or be wise in your own eyes.
Promise: You shall not be sick; you will be healthy in your bones and flesh.
5. Honour God with your finances and tithe diligently.
Promise: You shall never lack, you will have excess to give, save and splurge.
6. Do not get upset when God corrects you, always be patient. He corrects because he loves you.
7. Find Skill-ful and Godly wisdom(from the word of God and life experiences), it is incomparable, far better than gold or any jewel.
Promise: You will have peace and long life. Men will call you blessed. You will be enviable, wealthy, honoured and fortunate.
8. Always do good when in the capacity to do so. Give when you have and never withhold good from those who rightfully deserve it.
9. Avoid malice and do not contend(rival/oppose) any one who has done you no wrong. Do not devise evil against anyone as well.
10. Do not envy those who do evil or are violent in nature. Don’t try to emulate their lifestyle. Rather be humble and walk with the wise and not with the scornful or arrogant.
Promise: You will find blessings, favour, grace and Joy in all your endeavours.

DEAR DIARY: SO FAR

Dear diary,
These past few weeks have been quite hectic, it sometimes feels like I’m biting off more than I can chew. I stare at the board in my room and all I see are to do lists , the academic year is ending soon and just like yesterday it would soon be over. I still haven’t completed some essays and I have my dissertation to write but I have a couple of months to complete that. So what have I learnt this week? A whole lot. I would start with the most recent, I learnt the value of networking. I consider myself partially an introvert even though I’m quite outspoken. I was assessing my relationships a couple of months back and I realised that I had no new friends, sounds off but I figured I didn’t know anyone new, besides the colleagues turned compulsory friends. I hardly go out purely because i’m often swamped with work, but then again I figured you don’t necessarily need to go out to make new friends or meet people. Over the years I’ve developed personal relationships with some of my blog readers, and the first was Kemi. Kemi is such a sweet and pleasant lady, every time I put up a post, she’s swift to drop a comment and give feedback, she’s been a reader since when I blogged with my phone and crappy pictures lol. Kemi got married last month and I wish I was in Nigeria, I would have attended with full force. Hello!
Finally! my U.K readers are eligible!, I received some product samples from Taliah Wajid’s hair company. I was given about 30samples of 4 different products to try out and give feedback. I have tried out three of the products, the last one is for dreadlocks, and I don’t have dreads, so…..
My review of the products are simple!
The Natural curling Gelo: I used this on my wet hair to blend with my kinky curly weave, and I love the way it feels and smells, it doesn’t harden up. Its like a hair jam, keeps my hair moisturised and curls defined.
Curl sealer: This is similar to the eco styler gel, its a lightweight gel, smells good also, and is great for finger curls.
Spiral pudding: This is my personal favourite: Its like a leave-in conditioner, I love it… it keeps my natural hair and curly weave moisturised. it has like a creamy consistency. I also emptied one sachet into my spray bottle and added water. I sprayed it over my hair to keep it moisturised and it kept it moist all day.
So I would be giving away 16 samples(2 gelo’s, 2curlsealers, 12 spiral puddings) to two U.K readers i.e 8 each.. I would announce the winner 5days from now.

TAGGED! 10 THINGS

Hello,
I’ve been tagged by fellow bloggers (Hannah Lawani, Maggielola, Cassiedaves, Cynthia amande etc ) to do this post since forever but I’m just getting around it. I’m currently experiencing the busiest time of my life so far (Academic essays, proposal for dissertation, business etc) but God is in control!
I’m sure you all are great! I’d cut to the chase and make it as brief and informative as possible!
1. My laughter is piercing: Anytime I laugh in a public place its so embarrassing, I have the highest pitched laughter ever, lool and I laugh a lot, so I always hear ‘ahh Tosin!” from people when I laugh hehehe.
2. I do not wear clothes behind closed doors: I do not intend to make you start visualising lol, but I really don’t like clothes, when I’m home I’m 90% of the time naked, and the other 10% in a bunny costume bath robe. Whenever my friends call me on FaceTime or Skype I always say “hold on a second let me get something to wear”, Infact they are tired of me!
3. I can’t stand Noodles: I think I have mentioned this before in a previous post from a couple of years back, but damn I need to re-emphasise this fact! I cannot stand the smell, the look, let alone the taste. This has been a ‘no-no’ for me since I was a child. Everyone in my house eats it, except me, and it doesn’t stop with noodles, even pasta, macaroni, spaghetti, and rice noodles. Anything of that nature, take it faaaaaar away from me.
4. I am very emotional(In a good way lol): In as much as I consider myself a strong and highly opinionated lady, I’m a softie at heart. Movies make me cry, good words make me teary eyed. But maybe there’s just plenty water in my eye lool. But sincerely I’m very emosh.
5. I can’t sing: I often make jokes about how I can’t even sing the national anthem properly, but truthfuly I can’t sing (even though I sing a lot in my privacy). I often tell myself that God knew what he was doing, by giving me a good talking voice and not singing, because he knows how much I adore good vocals/music, my pride would have ‘skyrocketed’ lol.
6. I do well keeping a safe distance: I’ve developed over time the habit of excusing myself from unpleasant situations with people. I hardly get upset or angry, but when I do, I do my best to eliminate any possibilities of its reoccurrence . I’m praying to God to help me be less extreme. Its either we are good or we are not with me. I don’t know how to keep a truce. I simply keep a safe distance.
7. I don’t like to text: I know this may sound weird, but I get slightly irritated when people text me, especially if its not to give relevant information. I just don’t like to text. emails are the way to my heart. then maybe calls ^.^
8. I work well under pressure: I’m the type to push work till 3days before due date, just to be busy all through. I love being busy. Even when I’m not working or doing course works, I always find something to do. Also I feel it’s because I do quite well alone so I have many hobbies! I’m hardly bored.
9. I’m extremely positive almost to the point of delusion: I’m not sure if this is a good behaviour or not, but I’m the least realistic person. I live in a fantasy world. I believe everything works for my good, and even when not too pleasing things happen, I feel they happened for a greater purpose.
10. I love pap, yes OGI! : My lord! pap is my therapy, some years back when I used to fall ill every other month(Thank God for healing), my quick fix was pap! I would whine and whine till my mum made me some with lots of sugar. she makes the best seedless paps ever lol. huh! I’m even craving presently! please if anyone reading this is coming to the U.K soon kindly buy me some! I’d give you a huge kiss!
