HOUSE OF DEBOLA FASHION STORE LAUNCH: PHOTOS

party mints sample

House of Debola is a Nigeria based brand that retails fashion pieces from your favourite stores worldwide. They recently just launched their flagship store and I was invited.

Debola the brand owner happens to be a dear friend of mine and I was excited to attend . She started out as an online store but now has a physical location in the heart of Ikeja. 61, Allen avenue Ikeja.

Present were people who were ready to network, eat and of course shop.

I enjoyed my self and though I didn’t take my camera along, the brand was kind to send me these photos below.

LONG TIME NEW HAUL! MAKEUP & SKIN CARE PRODUCTS

IMG_7335Hello beautiful people!

Dusts cobwebs off my blog, No excuses so please just forgive me. My job takes 105% of my time, but this Easter break is for you lovelies! I noticed hauls get a lot of viewing here, so I thought to resurface with a satisfying haul! The last haul I did was here .

Today I’m going to show you a few products I got from January-date…..

KUDDY COSMETICS ALL MATTE MATTIFIER PRIMER: My friend Sisi-Ope a Nigerian Makeup artist recommended this to me, I was a bit skeptical because I’ve never used a primer that claimed to be mattifying and worked well in Nigeria’s weather. This primer is from Kuddy cosmetics a renowned beauty retailer in Nigeria. I buy most of my beauty products from their Ikota outlet. I’ve used this primer and it’s actually really GOOD! I was impressed.  The consistency is a bit liquid compared to a pore eraser like the Maybelline or LA pro-prep. My makeup lasted for over 4 hours and I only had to blot oil once. Though it’s 30ML a little goes a long way. BUY HERE . I still want to try the Becca Ever – Matte Priming Pore Perfector but I’m not ready to pan out N15,000 for a primer yet.

MILANI PRIME SHIELD FACE PRIMER: I got this from ask Onyeka beauty store in Ikota vgc. It says its Mattifying and pore minimising, and it is. Though not the longest wear when worn alone, but as a combo with the Kuddy primer I see a great difference. I like this because it actually fills out the pores and gives a smooth under-layer for your foundation. costs N4,770

MARY KAY TIME WISE MATTE-WEAR LIQUID FOUNDATION: Marykay is like a first love, this was the first ever brand I bought when I started wearing makeup in Uni. I recently decided to give this edition a try. I got it for N6,000! and I was pained lol, I remember when it was N2,500. However, this is a really good one! If you have a combination to oily skin this is great! I got it in bronze 5.  I find it’s a tiny-bit dark for me, but when I wear my overall face powder it works just fine. It does give good coverage and doesn’t feel heavy.
