LONG TIME NEW HAUL! MAKEUP & SKIN CARE PRODUCTS
Hello beautiful people!
Dusts cobwebs off my blog, No excuses so please just forgive me. My job takes 105% of my time, but this Easter break is for you lovelies! I noticed hauls get a lot of viewing here, so I thought to resurface with a satisfying haul! The last haul I did was here .
Today I’m going to show you a few products I got from January-date…..
KUDDY COSMETICS ALL MATTE MATTIFIER PRIMER: My friend Sisi-Ope a Nigerian Makeup artist recommended this to me, I was a bit skeptical because I’ve never used a primer that claimed to be mattifying and worked well in Nigeria’s weather. This primer is from Kuddy cosmetics a renowned beauty retailer in Nigeria. I buy most of my beauty products from their Ikota outlet. I’ve used this primer and it’s actually really GOOD! I was impressed. The consistency is a bit liquid compared to a pore eraser like the Maybelline or LA pro-prep. My makeup lasted for over 4 hours and I only had to blot oil once. Though it’s 30ML a little goes a long way. BUY HERE . I still want to try the Becca Ever – Matte Priming Pore Perfector but I’m not ready to pan out N15,000 for a primer yet.
MILANI PRIME SHIELD FACE PRIMER: I got this from ask Onyeka beauty store in Ikota vgc. It says its Mattifying and pore minimising, and it is. Though not the longest wear when worn alone, but as a combo with the Kuddy primer I see a great difference. I like this because it actually fills out the pores and gives a smooth under-layer for your foundation. costs N4,770
MARY KAY TIME WISE MATTE-WEAR LIQUID FOUNDATION: Marykay is like a first love, this was the first ever brand I bought when I started wearing makeup in Uni. I recently decided to give this edition a try. I got it for N6,000! and I was pained lol, I remember when it was N2,500. However, this is a really good one! If you have a combination to oily skin this is great! I got it in bronze 5. I find it’s a tiny-bit dark for me, but when I wear my overall face powder it works just fine. It does give good coverage and doesn’t feel heavy.
MAYBELLINE CLEAR SMOOTH ALL IN ONE POWDER IN CACAO:
I’ve really been sleeping on this product. This is excellent for contouring on my skin tone, It’s not ashy but a rich deep brown. With a fluffy brush it works just well and blends great with no harsh lines.
SONIA KASHUK CHIC LUMINOSITY BRONZER/BLUSH DUO GLOW: Help me clap for Misykona, Yemisi of Nsurebeauty. This woman is too kind! she sent me a mini care package and this was one of the products. I oh so love this bronzer, it’s a golden-copper bronzer that’s awesome for women of colour. I haven’t used the blush side because the pink is a tad too pale for me. But I’ve over-used the bronzer. It costs $23 so I’m not sure where to get it in Nigeria.
HOUSE OF TARA HIGH INTENSITY MARGARET EKPO PALETTE: To be honest I bought this out of hype, and I don’t regret it. I hardly wear bright eyeshadow colours but I have this handy for days I feel like. Its well pigmented but works better with a base primer like the NYX Jumbo pencil. Costs N4,500
BEAUTY ESSENTIALS BY N’SURE ORGANIC TOOL WASH: This works!!!! Not hype, It really works! I’ve almost finished it. It smells and lathers so well plus it’s made in Nigeria so I’m sold on this. I got this from my misykona care package and its a great product. Removes all dirt from my brushes and disinfects too!
The care pack also came with a tool spray which I’m yet to use, would do and review too!
BOTANIC FUSION 100% PURE COCONUT OIL: This is my leg cream, I’ve talked about how I use coconut oil here and I use this on my body (not face). I love the smell, it’s rich and absolutely affordable. I’ve reviewed this brand here. , Do Shop some of their products here.
BOTANIC FUSION BODY BUTTER: This is Shea butter mixed with other essential oils, I love this particularly because its well whipped. My aunt came over and wanted to Hijack it but I refused LOL . Great for cold weather and also deep moisturising.
UNUSED SHEA-MOISTURE SKIN CARE TRIO: I got these from Perfect trust cosmetics. To be honest the only reason I’ve not used these(well except the mask) is because I have sensitive skin these days, and I’m loving how nice my skin currently is. My new regimen works so I’m not ready to disrupt my glow lol . I’d try them out when I’m in a less paranoid zone. If not I’d give them out.
Have you used either of the three? if yes please let me know your thoughts below. Also qhich of these products have you tried or willing to try….
P.s. I’m not a product junkie, I’m a blogger and reviewing products is part of my job. Please don’t be compelled to buy anything seen on my page. Read, be informed and use your discretion. CHECK OUT MORE REVIEWS HERE!
