PICNIC AT THE LEKKI CONSERVATION CENTRE
Hello!
Yesterday was an awesome day, My family friend Esther and I decided to have an impromptu picnic with our brothers. I was very excited about this because I’m naturally a spontaneous person. So we grabbed our baskets, camera, Food and headed to the Lekki conservation centre. This is my second time here and I loved it, See my last visit also with Esther HERE.
When we got there this time, they had implemented some new things e.g. the payment Wrist bands, the high-rise canopy walk and waiting time before tour commenced. It rained so much at first and we were a bit bummed that our picnic wouldn’t happen. While waiting for the rain to stop, we had our first batch of food.
Fortunately the rain stopped in good time and we were able to go down the path.
When we got off the path The grounds were wet so we sat on tables to munch on our snacks. The animals were in hiding due to the rain, so we saw just a few Monkeys, Birds and Fish.
Overall the place is a nice spot for family, and I would go there again!
Do let me know if you’ve been here and what your thoughts are……..
xx

OK dear
It’s one of the few places I didn’t get to visit before leaving Nigeria. I’m sure whenever I visit I’ll make a stop here.
