OOTD: TGIF!
Posted on August 21, 2015 11 Comments
Happy Friday, how did your week go? Hope you’re as excited about the weekend as I am. I’m looking forward to sleep, blogging, fun and more sleep.
Fridays at work are casual/Trad days hence my outfit. I got this material from my friend Phoebe about 2 years ago. She gifted it to me just because ^.^, but I just recently sewed it into a shift-like dress. I asked my tailor to make a button-up casual dress and she did just that. The material was barely Three yards hence the length.
It’s been a struggle taking blog photos lately, but God knows my desires so he gave me a manager at work who doesn’t mind helping me with photos during lunch time.
I was so pleased when I saw the photos, for an amateur he did a good job! Help me thank Mr.Francis LOL
My shoes are from Dorothy Perkins. I’ve always wanted to wear yellow shoes without looking strange, and I’m glad it went quite well with the dress.
And oh yes I’m back to my bun! Thinking of a natural hair update soon…….
Do enjoy the post.

MY FIVE MUST HAVE NATURAL HAIR PRODUCTS
Posted on July 15, 2015 11 Comments
1. ORS CREAMY ALOE SHAMPOO: I’m one to pick shampoo over conditioner any day, simply because shampoo guarantees that all the dirt is lifted off my scalp. I love this product because it’s very moisturising even though it’s a shampoo. it doesn’t leave my hair stringy or dry. The shampoo is creamy and gives the […]
WEEKEND + NATURAL HAIR UPDATE
Posted on July 13, 2015 10 Comments
Hello! Hope you all are well, this weekend I took out my plaits (which is often beneath my wigs) and hung out with my friends. I try to wash my hair at least once a week but lately I’ve been so lazy. Since I’m currently away from home, I do not have my wash day […]
OOTD + BRAID LIFE!
Posted on May 14, 2015 16 Comments
How has your week been? Mine has been great, Thank God!
With the fuel scarcity still ongoing I’ve still managed to fill my tank and go about my daily business.
This week, I knew I’d be quite occupied so brushing my hair daily won’t really work. I decided to braid my hair instead. I used the regular ‘expression’ extensions. I wanted the braids scanty and long, the stylist got it just right.
This is also the first time I’m braiding my year in over 3 years. It didn’t hurt and I’ve just been loving the ease and versatility.
My outfit today is casual…. I have on a T-shirt from Jeffery Coen which I would be reviewing in the next post. This is one of two!
Hope you’re doing well…..
I wish you an awesome weekend ahead. Thank you for all the kind comments in my previous posts, You all are awesome!

HOW TO DEEP CONDITION YOUR HAIR AT HOME
Posted on May 12, 2015 11 Comments
Hello! So I often get asked by hair dressers why I don’t come to ‘steam at the salon’, I just laugh because it’s not that I’m trying to be frugal but I can actually do it myself at home, so why visit the salon. Especially when I have the time to. The only difference is […]

ALL ABOUT MY HAIR: KINKY CURLY
Posted on March 8, 2015 6 Comments
Hello,
I received this hair I’ve been rocking from RaeFranHair_Uk, It was delivered to Lagos in 6days. It came via FEDEX. The package contained a 12″ closure, and 16, 18 and 20″ bundles of virgin kinky hair. The video below explains all hair and styling details, do watch for more information.
Kindly watch in HD for premium quality
This hair is specially made for naturalistas and its a good blend with 4c hair. It’s shoulder length because of it’s tight curls, but it’s stretched length is accurate.
I fixed it on a cap and wear it as a wig. Personally I feel curly hair is better on a cap for maintenance. Also I wash it with my herbal essence Hello hydration conditioner and apply Cantu Shea butter leave in conditioner afterwards.
Price: £170 for all bundles. However shipping is free if it’s a referral from this blog. Quote “TosinLynn” in your order mail.

And that’s all!
Hope I answered all your questions.

QUICK TEXT POST: HOW I PUT MY HAIR IN A BUN!
Posted on January 13, 2015 7 Comments
Hello!
I’ve been getting requests on how I put my Afro in a bun, I wanted to film a tutorial but time hasn’t permitted. (I will shortly) but meanwhile here’s a step by step tutorial on how to!
1. Spray water and apply a hair moisturiser , I use Organics carrot oil creme all over (improves shine)
2. Apply a gel/custard of choice , I use Eco styler gel(Orange) or Jack five activator gel.
3. Use a soft bristled brush to brush your edges and back of hair.
4. Get a cut out head band or pantyhose(I use a cut out pantyhose) to smoothen your hair’s perimeter, place it on the back of hair then pull up the two loose ends of the head band/pantyhose to the front and tie, keep pulling it till your desired bun height/shape is formed.
5. Brush edges with a smaller brush(toothbrush size) and add gel if needed.
6. Scarf down with a silk scarf for 5 to 30minutes.
7. Remove scarf, dress up etc….All done.
Would film video tutorial when time permits 🎥💜
It lasts for days, all I have to do is scarf it down before I sleep.
BEFORE & AFTER (AFRO TO BUN)
Hope your day is going well!

NATURAL HAIR UPDATE: 2YEARS 1MONTH!
Posted on November 13, 2014 18 Comments
Hope you’re doing great, I just realised that I’m 2 years, a month and a week natural today, and an update is only right. I get a lot of questions about my hair, its care and my regimen. In the past, I have tried to make videos, write posts and answer questions via my social media accounts, But I guess when it comes to hair, we enthusiasts always want to know more. Hence this post.
MY NATURAL HAIR TIME LINE (2months post Big chop till date-2years Natural)
I would try to divide this post into sections and answer all questions I have gotten over time. All points/answers are solely what has worked for me, I am not an expert, take all with discretion.
1. WHY NATURAL?: I have cut my hair thrice before this, just for style purposes i.e the ‘Anita baker’ kind of hair cut, but it never lasts. The back grew back and I to re-trim it almost every 2-3 months. On the last occasion, I just decided to take it all off. My friend Biola was actually the one who ‘enticed’ me with the natural hair movement. I first wanted to keep it short, i.e like month 2 as seen above, but when it started growing out, I quite
