JUST FOOD: FEAST
Posted on January 3, 2015 2 Comments
Today my brother, a friend and I went to a buffet restaurant to have dinner. Tope is leaving back to school in a few days so I thought to take him out…… I’d miss him *sobs*. I love food and dining out is one of the ways to my heart…
I try to eat out at least once a week and also a new place every time. This time I went to this buffet place my friend introduced me to, it’s called ‘FEAST’. The food was good, the staff was courteous and ambience was rather warm and cosy. I filled my self well, from starters to dessert. I had crabs, shrimps, ice cream, Singapore fried rice, egg fried rice, beef, chicken in black bean sauce, and fruits to step down lol…Tope has spaghetti with lots of dessert. It was worth every penny spent. I rate the overall experience 9/10. All you can eat including drinks costs an estimate of £50 for 3 people, which I think is OK.

INTRODUCTION
Hello there!
My heartfelt gratitude goes to the editor for giving me this platform to nurture this baby I have carried for a while.
I am sure majority reading this have at some point been a student. The primary aim of this post and other future posts coming from this platform is to provide support to students, especially students in the University (Bsc or Msc level) who engage in Research (Dissertation as some may call it). I am here to help you through this journey to succeed.
I must admit we’ve (including myself) all had our ups and downs during this phase of our academic journey. I can say by the Grace of God I have excelled colourfully this phase of my Academic level both at Bsc and Msc level. (To God be all the glory).
Because I have observed this is one of the few phases students struggle with in their academic journey, with a burning passion in my heart to see more students excel in this regard I have decided to share relevant tips to an excellent research as well as provide constructive advice where necessary. It is important to state here that I do not claim to know it all but I can be part of your success story. Also, all I will be sharing will be from my perspective as a student.

Let me start this way, I didn’t start my academic journey as a ‘Nerd’. I didn’t have all Read More

THE BLOG GOT A FACE LIFT!
Posted on December 30, 2014 2 Comments
I’ve been wanting to upgrade the blog layout for a while now; to something more functional, user-friendly and clean, and that required me to buy and install a new theme. Also I’ve been procrastinating properly tagging all my posts in order to create new menus…..but I finally got to it and voila!
This new layout allows you to choose what exactly interests you, no need to scroll all the way down when looking for a post, Just use the menu options to streamline your search. Remember when I did a poll asking you readers what you visit the blog for ? I used that poll result to create this layout. If you visit here just for Hair there’s a tab for that, If for fashion there’s also one for that, likewise Faith posts! This theme allows a more responsive mobile view hence tablet/phone users can also get the best format while reading.
I hope this encourages you to visit here more often and refer a friend!
Thanks for always stopping by!

O.O.T.D: ALL BACK
Posted on December 28, 2014 7 Comments
It’s been a while since I did an ‘outfit post’ simply because of the weather and my broken tripod. It’s really cold now and I barely leave the house unless it’s really necessary. Today was church and it was great…My brother Tope is around, so he took these pictures for me.
I’m wearing my hair back because I was breaking out on my forehead and I felt I should stay off bangs for a while…..I quite like the look…..
Hope you enjoyed christmas like I did!
compliments of the season…

5 REASONS YOUR HAIR MAY NOT BE ‘GROWING’!
Posted on December 21, 2014 5 Comments
These are just a few reasons I feel may contribute to hair loss/slow hair growth, besides the usual over manipulation causing breakage.
1. You don’t follow Instructions: I know this may sound very cliché, but it’s true. Many naturals are very assumptuous when using new/old products. Ask yourself-when last you properly used products as instructed by the manufacturers. Sometimes, products that are meant to aid your hair growth process have to be used in a particular order to obtain optimum results. You may need to leave some on for 30minutes plus, while some for 2 minutes only to prevent breakage.
2. You Read More
