STATEMENT HANDBAGS: HOPIC PRINTZ
Posted on May 14, 2016 9 Comments
Everyone loves the perfect statement bag that complements an outfit, it easily takes your outfit from zero to 100. I personally love structured handbags, they are so chic and cannot go out of style to me. It’s always a delight when I get a new one.
I’m presently working with this brand called Hopic Printz. A company that was launched earlier this year in the USA. However, they have now decided to expand to Africa.
The brand provides unique bags that are appealing to diverse women for everyday use.
What I particularly love about this company is the quality and workmanship of their bags. So much detail in each piece. I received this gorgeous handbag below called the “Mena satchel” BUY HERE or on KONGA HERE. They are marketed as durable and luxury bags with a fair price.
I can’t wait to style it for a fashion post, but pending then check out these photos I took below. Read More

Posted on May 9, 2016 5 Comments
Hello!
Happy new week, Here’s a new video on courting. Basically the notion of the “one”. Is there really just one person pre-destined for us by God in marriage?
In this video, I talk about this popular belief and explain it with scriptures…
It’s an interesting one and I hope you enjoy.
Don’t forget to comment, share and like…
I absolutely love hearing from you.

BUSINESS NUGGETS WITH IBUKUN AWOSIKA
Posted on May 6, 2016 9 Comments

Hello,
I attended the passion for business segment organised by my church (TPH) on Wednesday, where Mrs Ibukun Awosika was the guest speaker. She is one of my mentors and I have written about her HERE in the past. She an ordained pastor, the chairman of First bank Nigeria, the CEO of the chair centre and a member of many corporate boards. Her bio alone is absolutely inspiring, Read HERE.
The program lasted for about 3 hours and it was absolutely edifying. I had a good front row seat as I purposely went an hour before the program started. I learnt so much and I’m glad I took notes. Below are some wisdom nuggets she shared. Some are written in my own words but all based on the points she shared…… Read More

OOTD: SUNDAY MOMENTS
Posted on April 24, 2016 14 Comments
Hello there,
It seems like it’s been a while since I did an outfit post (OOTD), probably because I’ve been away. I’m back in Lagos and settled right into my usual routines.
Today was church and I got to dress up. I planned this outfit last-minute and I think it came out good.
I Love silk/Tafetta skater Midi skirts, I’ve featured quite a number on the blog, Like this one HERE.
The skirt and Bag in this post are from Forever 21, I got it half price on sale (Apparently Forever 21 is downsizing, so this week most of their stores will be having huge sales and some will shut down shortly after).
The Fluffy Pompom on my bag is a trend I’m loving. Sadly it ridiculously priced at most stores. I saw one at Dune for £20 and £36 at Kurt Geiger, but as a bargain shopper I found this at New Look for about £4. Peacocks also has some around the same price.

NEW IN! MAKEUP HAUL
Posted on April 21, 2016 14 Comments
Hello,
I decided recently that I’d buy some new makeup as I was running out . However, most of the items here are new products, I bought them based on reviews and my personal discretion. I love makeup shopping any kind of shopping to be honest , I find my self spending quite some time on the makeup aisle testing and considering brands. I decided to share this mini haul with you. It consists of 17 products and I’ve listed them according to Skin, Eyes and Lips.
SKIN
MAYBELLINE BABY SKIN PRIMER: This is a silicon based primer, I like it because it truly minimizes the appearance of pores and makes makeup application easier. However this item is really small, for those who wear makeup daily you mind need to stock up. Although you only need a little amount daily. Also, as a primer it works, not all day but it keeps my makeup in place for at least 2hours.
L.A GIRL PRO PREP PRIMER: This is very similar to the baby skin, but I find that my face gets oily quicker with this. It works ok, it’s silicon based too and it reduces the appearance of fine lines.
LANCOME TEINT IDOLE 24H FOUNDATION: I really like this product, it dries matte and has good coverage. I got the shade 10 and it’s great on my skin. I would recommend this foundation to anyone, its light and build-able. Though pricy- £30, It’s a good buy.

ACADEMICS WITH WUNMI: EINSTEIN SERIES: AYODELE DANIEL DADA
Posted on April 19, 2016 2 Comments
The exceptional performance of Ayodele Dada is one worthy of applaud and review. I love people whose works stands them out; Ayodele Dada is not an exception. Even the bible recognizes that a man’s gift (skill) makes room for him. I am passionate about motivating and encouraging students to always strive to do better most especially in academics, for me it’s always spontaneous, all you need do is tell me your current grade (or something related) and I would talk on and on… I was reminiscing over this record breaking exploit (new echelon of success) when I thought to myself “why not share my thoughts and lessons learnt with the readers”, I believe we all can learn a thing or two. This thought further birth in me an idea to start on this segment an ‘EINSTEIN SERIES’, where we would be reviewing profiles of outstanding academic performances and sharing the lessons learnt. This I believe will encourage us all that there is no height unattainable. If you can think it then you can become it!
So, let’s get to it……
SUMMARISED PROFILE
Ayodele Daniel Dada is a 29 year old psychology graduate. He hails from Ekiti state (Ekiti indigenes are quite intelligent…lol), he has a sibling-younger brother. His mum is a teacher and dad is an accountant. He graduated with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 5.00. He is the first to graduate with 5.00 CGPA since the inception of University of Lagos in 1962. He is also said to be the first in Africa. He has had all his education in Lagos state. His hobbies include reading and computer strategy games. He developed interest in psychology during one of his reading encounters. Read More
