1. Shamus: A private detective
2. Grotesque: odd or unnatural in shape, appearance, or character; something ugly or absurd; bizarre.
3. Penitent : feeling or expressing sorrow for sin or wrongdoing and disposed to atonement and amendment; repentant.
4. Braggadocio : Empty boasting
5. Expunge: to strike or blot out; erase; wipe out or destroy.
