Today was a casual day out, I brought out two of my favourite items; My Mena satchel bag from Hopic printz which I reviewed HERE and my old mules . The outfit was simple but the bag made it pop.

Everyone loves a simple midi dress that can be glammed up with a few accessories….

Hello people,

I know I’ve been M.I.A these past weeks, please forgive me. Life has been busy and I’m working through.

I’ve been attending and planning events a lot lately. So I owe you a “how I spent my weekend post”, would try to publish it once I get all official photos.

On Sunday I attended the ‘Naija Hair can grow salon day out” as a speaker, The day before that I attended the “Ghana must go” movie premiere which I told you about (Movie now showing in cinemas from Friday June 10th) While on Monday I was at the Shea moisture Lagos Launch. I shared the event photos + Details HERE.

Unto today’s post, Yes! I’m coming to Abuja, Now summoning all my bubbling Abuja blog readers ^.^

Naija Naturals has partnered with nuNAAT® , a U.S based hair care brand for its Official launch in Nigeria. The company is launching it’s Patauá range which boasts of amazing ingredients for beautiful hair.

I would be present at this launch which holds on Monday, 13th June 2016, by 10am at Barcelona Hotels, 23 Blantyre crescent, off Ademola Adetokunbo crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja. It’s a FREE event, so if you’d like to attend simply register HERE.

NAIJA HAIR CAN GROW SALON DAY OUT! EVENT PHOTOS

Hello,

Remember I told you about the NHCG salon day out hosted by Dabs HERE, which I spoke at alongs sides Uzo of don’t touch the hair, Ekene of the kink and I, and Ade of Loctitude. It was a packed event and I had fun while I was there. I just received the photos and I thought to share with you.

The event held at the Redcarpet hall Oniru, and was stated to start for noon.

I got there at 1pm and it hadn’t started. All the vendors were set up, music was playing but guest had not fully arrived. So instead of waiting around I decided to get my nails done with one of the vendors “wow nails” (review for another day).

It started shortly after that, and my session was first. The bloggers invited spoke about their natural hair journey, we spoke about a whole lot, from Alopecia to length retention and lots more. Ade of Loctitude spoke about dreadlocks, which was very enlightening.

EXPRESSING DISAPPOINTMENTS, ANGER AND SIN

Explore-2 I find it rather ironic that I’m typing this, but truly all things work together for good.

Today was that “Uggh Why!” kind of day..

It seemed as though everything was going in the opposite direction.

First, the lady I asked to help take out my weave assumed my hair looked liked extensions so she accidentally cut out a chunk of my hair…right in the middle. I didn’t even realise till I was braiding it down for my wig. It was a little chunk, but being a natural you know every strand counts. I was so upset but I kept telling myself “Baby don’t cry LOL, it’s just hair”.

SHEA MOISTURE IN LAGOS EVENT PHOTOS!

Hello!

Monday was an awesome day with the Shea Moisture brand launch in Lagos. Naija Naturals partnered with them to have a lovely event. It held at the Oriental hotel Lekki. It was a free event and everyone who registered was treated to freebies, shopping vouchers, food and drinks.

SHEA MOISTURE, A Globally Reknowned brand for personal care, established 1912 officially launched in Lagos June 6th 2016 at the Oriental Hotel with its Foremost Distributor & Partner in Nigeria, Chisuf Ventures LTD.

Lagos was ready for every Shea Moisture goodness it could get and it sure did!

There was also a POP UP Shop set up for all guests, and it offered the most amazing deals and price offers on all Shea Moisture Products .

The amazing work of TasalaHQ was showcased with beautiful hair created with Shea moisture products. Exciting events are happening this month, and it started yesterday. Last night I attended the premiere for the movie Ghana must go, and today I’d be speaking at the Naija Hair can grow salon day out with other awesome panelists. It’s happening today Sunday, 5th June, 2016 at the Red carpet hall Oniru, V.I Lagos.

This is an annual event hosted by Dabs of Naija Hair Can Grow, and Savvy & Chic Hair and Beauty Hub.

Schedule of Events: Naija Hair Can Grow Salon Day Out

12:30pm to 2pm: The Hair Journey Series

Panelist: Myself, Uzo (Don’t Touch The Hair) and Ekene of The kink and I

2:00pm to 2:30pm: ‘The Nigerian Hairlista’s Evolution- Using Nigerian Products to Grow Your Hair and the Naira’.

3:00pm to 4:00pm: Battle of the Hairlistas

This is a hairstyling competition.

4:00pm to 6:00pm: Wig Runway Show
