SHEA MOISTURE WEEKEND : MASTER CLASS AND GALA NIGHT

Hello all,
Been a wee while, I’ve had the most interesting November so far! Naija Naturals partnered with Shea moisture Nigeria for a week-long celebration and product launch, it was so fantastic! it consisted of three events and a three-day trip to Ghana (VLOGS ON MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL ALREADY).
First it started with the distribution of invites to invited guests for the master class on Friday November 3rd 2017 at the oriental.
It was an afternoon of panels, games, food, music and shopping. I hosted a session on DIY hair care and anchored a DIY BATTLE. On my panel were Ekene of the kink and I, Favor olugu, Tuke Morgan and Nancy Isime. I got to ask them questions, and learn about their hair experiences.
Tuke won the battle by vote and was gifted a crotchet wig made by Nappyhaired.
There were other panels like baby hair care, science of hair, beard grooming, hair in different weathers.
I wore a bedazzled Ankara dress for the event, made by my friend Salmah Couture. Paired with mules from Topshop and my hair in a bun!
After the event was over, we took photos and we were treated to goody bags, small chops and cocktails.
There was also a shopping bar for people to buy Shea moisture products.
GALA NIGHT!
For the gala night, the dress code was glam! it was an evening (Sunday 5th November) for celebrating the legacy of Sofi Tucker and also crowning the winner for the Sofi Tucker competition. The winner won a million Naira for her business idea centred around sesame seeds. Present were hair stylists, bloggers, media personalities, other invited guests and Shea moisture officials.
The event was hosted by OAP Mercy Ajisafe with performances from a cultural group, music from Ugo and poetry from Wanawana.
