YAY! THREE YEARS NATURAL!
Whoa! How time flies! I remember my two years anniversary I shared HERE It’s so surreal seeing how growth occurs. I shared a time line on my Instagram yesterday and here it is below! From 2012 when I did the big chop till now.

A living proof that hair grows with patience!! ๐๐๐๐๐HAPPY 3 YEARS NATURAL TO ME! I went to the barber’s shop on October 6th 2012 to cut off all my hair. My parents hated it lol my brothers laughed at me. But I rocked every darn stage with confidence, even though deep down I was a bit uncertain if this choice was for me. I coloured it, Jerry-curled it and did the absolute most….Even with my then sparse edges ๐. But I Inspired my self with natural hair pages, stories and other people on the journey. Here we are 36months after! Better length, texture and of course better brows hehehe๐. I’m happy and don’t regret the decision to go natural even though it’s a more expensive choice in all honesty. Cheers to another three years to come. ๐๐๐๐ P.s I’d be accepting freebies, goodie bags and endorsements to celebrate this small but worthy mile stone ๐๐๐๐ฟ๐๐ฝ mail me at lynnjaphet@gmail.com I love you ๐#ItsJustHair#NaturalHairJourney @naijanaturals

I love you hair. My hair is one year and 6 months old. It is quiet healthy. With shrinkage it’s neck length and stretched its shoulder length (I guess, I don’t straighten my hair).
But one problem I have is my hair is terribly dull. You know when you see people like naptural85 and there is this beautiful sheen to their hair. I want that so bad. Pls what can I do To get shine to my hair.
I want that more than length sef.
Thank you.
Hello Theo! Thanks for dropping a comment, why dont you try the oil rinsing method? Naptural85 talks about it often. this is when you you’re done washing your hair, but you use olive oil to rinse it , followed with cold water.I did that often an it helped. Also try understanding the porosity of your hair, either it retains products or not.
Hmmm. Ok. I would try that and the hot oil treatment as well. Thank you
I’ve heard that Argan oil helps with shine. Also tea rinses.

Congrats on making it to 3 years. You said it best . . . “hair grows with patience”. Your hair looks very lush. How did you get your hairline back? For me, leaving it alone brings it back from disaster.
Congrats on your 3rd year being natural!
You hair is absolutely beautiful!

I sooo cannot wait for my hair to look as awesome as this, mine is just over a year and problem is I dont really have time for all the natural hair products. Its just getting fuller everyday and I doubt its stretching out much. I just try to do as much rubber (African thread) as I can and the results are really cool.
