MUSIC MEETS RUNWAY 2012! WITH LE SISTER!
Merry Christmas to all you wonderful people! hope your day went/is going fantastic!! Last night was the “music meets runway ” show at EKo hotel and suites, lagos,Nigeria and I was in attendance.
Funny how I never planned to go till my look alike friend Dero (hence the sister tag )started to ginger for us to go, after the hustle of trying to get a ticket because tickets were sold out we almost lost hope, but then I remembered that I have some amazing friends in that industry and after a few calls I got a ticket for free and with about 3more to spare! Lol Dero also pulled some strings 😉 and she got a ticket as well(the power of networking!) The show was beautiful though they started 4hours late but trust Dero and I to be fashionably late so we didn’t wait for too long. We took amazing pictures that night thanks to Dero’s new Cam! Anyway here’s what we wore ! I wore a peplum top with a houndstooth skirt and Dero also wore a leather peplum top with a skater skirt !
It was a beautiful show with artists ranging from D’banj to my acclaimed beau Burna boy lol and with designers from kunbi to kimono. And after last night i am seriously considering a career in fashion journalism who knows what the industry might have in stock for me !Lol please anticipate the next post on MMR2012 !
