So it’s the weekend and I was feeling a bit ‘groovy’ earlier lol…I decided to make a home-made cocktail since I had all the ingredients. I’m not really a drinker but with cocktails I make an exception. My favorite cocktail after a Piña Colada is a Daiquiri. So I made a strawberry one and filmed the tutorial. It’s simple and easy, plus you can try it this festive season for your friends if you’re having a house party….
1. Fresh Lime Juice
2. Sugar Syrup (made with water and sugar on a boil)
3. Strawberry preserve/ fresh strawberries
4. Crushed Ice
5. 2-4 shots of White Rum
TOOLS: A cocktail shaker, knife, chopping board and wide rim glass.
DO WATCH AND SHARE! (It’s a minute short)
Fill your shaker with lime juice, followed with sugar syrup. Mix well
Pour in your shots of Rum, and 3 chopped Strawberries OR a full spoon of strawberry preserve.
Shake vigorously for 25 seconds until cold.
Strain into a glass and garnish with a strawberry/lime wheel.
And that’s it!
