SPOKEN WORD: 206 BONES BY WONU ALESE
Hello,
Here’s an amazing piece by my talented friend Wonu Alese, who is a rising radio personality here in the U.K. This is a beautiful piece about Love, humanity and purpose. Listen and be blessed. Transcript below….
“We different, colour, hair, height, structure, sense of style, perception about life , religion, social stratas, able, disabled, straight, gay, taste buds, but We all got one thing in common 206 BONES.
It is funny and weird how we all differ but we are all the same in the end. We all turn to dust and decay at some point.
We just here (earth) to ‘shop’ honestly, and once we done we depart to our final destinations.
We all want to be loved by either loved ones, blood relations but everybody daily keeps chasing papers that never end.
Why should you be judged based on your past, looks, ability, disability, normal, abnormal, colour.
Why must you be ever judged about how you exactly want to live life!?
Why must there be certain strata in life, successful people and failures. Why can’t we all be people because in the end we all have 206 BONES.
I do not think no one is superior to another
We all going to end up in some type of soil at some point, but before that
Why can’t we all just do what makes us truly happy and not bother about being judged by the next person, or scared being tagged a failure or a success, why must there be a tag!?
Why can’t we wake up one morning and just do what comes from the heart and not have to bother what the society thinks or being scared of being looked down.
Why can’t we all be content with the basic things life has got to offer FOOD, SHELTHER, AND DECENT CLOTHING
Its sad people keep getting blinded by things that do not really matter, cuz this place we call earth is just called a passage.
206 bones irrespective of your pile of paper piled up in some building called a bank or irrespective of the hundreds of cars and empires you own. We all still the same, except if your pile of paper can add more bones to your body to extend your life span or your pile of money can raise a dead person from the grave, then you do not have the right to feel superior to another fellow being.
In the end #NeverGiveUpOnWhatTrulyMakesYouHappy so we can make this temporary place ( earth) a better place to ‘shop’ in…”
Have an awesome week ahead.
Love one another
cheers.
xoxo
